Features of the regulatory support for the privatization of 1991

More than 20 years have passed since the institutionalization of privatization in Russian legislation. The beginning of this process was laid after the adoption of the law of the RSFSR «On Privatization of state and municipal enterprises in the RSFSR». Privatization, which took place for the first time and on an unprecedented scale for that time, became the subject of research and discussion by a large number of researchers - political scientists, lawyers, historians, etc. However, the aspect of legislative support for the process under consideration has not received due attention. The analysis of the experience of implementing such reforms is relevant in modern reality, especially in conditions of sanctioned development, when the privatization economy is perceived by many as a way to replenish the budget and a mechanism accompanying a developed economic situation by shouldering the private sector the costs of investment, technological development and re-equipment of various spheres of production and society.
