Comparison of the nucleophilic addition of high primary amines C8-C14 with linear and branched structure to the C = C bond of acrylonitrile in methanol was conducted. The influence of temperature, ratio of reactants and their concentration on the product yield was defined for fractions of branched amines in reaction of cyanoethylation.
