Features of ensuring the safety of the educational process in the pretrial detention centers of the penitentiry system

The article deals with the issues of ensuring the right to education of convicts and persons taken into custody in pre-trial detention centers, as well as the influence of external and internal factors on the safety of the educational process. In the process of analyzing the current criminal executive legislation, including in the field of education, it was established that the right of persons deprived of their liberty to education is not publicly available and is not fully ensured. Suggestions are made on the need to improve the quality and accessibility of education in pre-trial detention centers, including through the organization of proper interaction with civil society institutions.
