Specific features of English refrigeration and cryogenic system terms in the field of refrigeration and cryogenic technology

The article considers different ways of terms formation in modern English in the field of refrigeration and cryogenic technology as the structure and translation are concerned. The analysis is based on the selection of terminological expressions chosen from present day scientific articles in the branch of engineering mentioned above. Ways to make multicomponent terms are of special attention. Lexical and grammatical approaches are presented, their role in making new terms is defined. Examples of terms from original scientific articles are given.
