Peculiarities of the environment and situation of committing violent crimes against internal affairs officers

The article aims to study the peculiarities of the environment and situation of committing violent crimes against internal affairs officers by studying the relevant factors that allow to get a holistic view of the mechanism of these crimes, their features and victimological characteristics. Also the situational nature of the relationship between the victim and the perpetrator, conditioned by the peculiarities of the environment and the situation of committing violent crimes against internal affairs officers, is considered, and a survey of practitioners was conducted regarding the situations in which they most often became victims of violence. The author analyzed on the basis of statistical data presented in the materials 475 of criminal cases on the discussed category of violent crimes, established the mechanism of their commission, place and features of these illegal acts.
