The article discusses the specifics of problem arising from teaching schoolchildren two foreign languages in secondary school of humanities. It vindicates that the application of the recent technology of the language portfolio with account for the national regional component facilitates the achievement of the main goal -preparation of learners for a full co-operation in a multilingual and policultural world by means of the studied languages.
