Features of teaching Russian to Kazakh schoolchildren

In this article, the author attempts to analyze the identification of the features of learning the Russian language in Kazakhstan. According to sociolinguistic data, Kazakh and Russian are the most common languages in the country. However, apart from Kazakhs, most of the population currently has a poor knowledge of the Kazakh language, while Russian continues to be the "language of interethnic communication". Even though the state recognizes the importance of the Russian language, in some areas, such as education, there is a negative trend towards a decrease in the interest of students in the Russian language.
