Peculiarities of the reflection of the coronavirus pandemic in the vocabulary of the medical discourse (based on the English neologisms)

The article deals with the neologisms occurring during the coronavirus pandemic. There is analyzed the semantic plan of the given lexical layer (in particular there is emphasized the role of irony and humour in the semantic content of neologisms). The neologisms are introduced in medical discourse that allows to consider them in the context of everyday medical discourse expressing in the changes of the social conscience during the pandemic.
