The idea is substantiated that a teacher, unlike representatives of other professions, should have a particularly deep philosophical (dialectical) thinking, which underlies the formation of collective intelligent activity of a new generation. Special attention is paid to the criticism of skill formation as a leading idea in the modern educational process. The problem raised in the article requires urgent systematic scientific research in the situation of degrading education stated by society.
