Features of translation and use in speech of English speakers

The article discusses the characteristic features of the translation of English proverbs and sayings into Russian, the causes of inaccuracies, complexity and problems in translation, as well as ways to get out of these situations. In this work, Russian equivalents to English proverbs are selected, examples are given. The etymology of words and historical background are given to understand the true meaning of proverbs and sayings.
