Peculiarities of translating emotive groups in F. S. Fitzgerald’s novel ‘The great Gatsby’

This article is an attempt to consider the problem of keeping the expressive effect when translating a literary text from English into Russian, the problem of the expressive and emotional meaning of speech work communicative content. The study touches upon the expressive and emotional means and methods of their use in F.S. Fitzgerald’s novel ‘the Great Gatsby’, highlights positive and negative emotions. The article emphasizes that every language has a certain set of expressive and stylistic means of emotion expressions, which create a unique, emotional and expressive effect in the text, help the reader to convey the characters ’ emotional state, allow the author to create as much as the expressive nature of the works. The scientific novelty of the study is determined by the language material, the aspects of expressiveness are analyzed in the framework of the text through translation, marking the expressivity creation methods in the translated language.
