Specific features of the Chinese socio-political texts (based on the new year speech of the chair of the People's Republic of China)

The article intends to conduct a discourse analysis of the Chinese socio-political texts and explore the main linguistic methods used by government officials in order to influence on the society. The study was based on the New Year Speech of the Chair of the People’s Republic of China - Xi Jinping.
