Features of preparing and reading lectures at military higher education institution based on the situations of cognitive difficulty(by the example of "Informatics" subject)

On the example of the lecture course of the «Informatics» subject, the peculiarities of preparing and giving lectures in a military higher education institution on the basis of situations of cognitive difficulty are revealed. The author’s definitions of the concepts «situation of cognitive difficulty», «cognitive barrier», and «cognitive difficulty» are given. The situation of cognitive difficulty is considered as an element of the study session and as an intangible means of learning. A detailed description of the process of developing a plan for a lecture class is provided. The conditions that ensure the effectiveness of the lecture as a form of presentation of educational information are identified and analyzed. A sample reference checklist was developed and presented as a practical implementation of one of the conditions
