Peculiarities of police officers' training for actions during public events

The article is devoted to the consideration of problems related to public events, the causes of group violations of public order, possible consequences for citizens and public safety. The need of the internal affairs bodies for qualified employees with knowledge and skills to perform professional duties in an environment of intense socio-political conflict is emphasized. The article considers legal and tactical ways to develop and apply in practice reasonable and effective ways to maintain law and order in places where such events are held, as well as to prevent and suppress mass riots.
