Features of the legal status of the Central Bank of Russian Federation as mega-regulator of the financial market

The relevance of the chosen subject of a research is connected with ambiguity of the status of the Central Bank of Russian Federation (Bank of Russia). In article features of the sphere of regulation of the Central Bank of Russian Federation which was expanded in connection with its transformation to mega-regulator of the financial market are considered. The author comes to conclusions that in connection with carrying out this reform of the purpose of activity, functions and powers of the Central Bank of Russian Federation considerably extended and also its position as public authority amplified.
