Features of the legal status of state autonomous institutions

The specificity of the legal status of the GAU in civil legal relations is considered, due to the need to achieve the goals for which the GAU was created. This affects the permissible ways of disposing of the property of the GAU, but, within the scope of activities corresponding to the goals, the GAU has the right to freely dispose of the property provided on the basis of the right of operational management. The autonomy of the GAU is manifested in property responsibility and the procedure for using profits that can be obtained within the framework of core activities, but the assets created at the expense of the profit belong to the GAU itself. Special procurement rules also apply to GAU.
