Features of personal idea of lie in virtual space

In connection with the prevalence of communication technologies in the life of modern society, a number of important problems have arisen, one of which is the peculiarities of lying in the virtual space. Scientific and public demand for their solution determines the relevance of the research topic. These include questions related to lying and self-presentation. For example, how can the Internet facilitate deception through personality manipulation? A number of questions concern the ability of a person to detect deception in online communications in various areas of the virtual space. The authors study peculiarities of the personal ideas of lies in real and virtual space. The authors put forward a hypothesis that there are differences in the personal idea of lies in real and in virtual space, which was confirmed as a result of the study.
