Use of pedagogical methods in teaching local history in Orthodox Gymnasium in the name of St. Vasily of Ryazan

The article analyzes the features of teaching local history in the Orthodox gymnasium in the name of St. Vasily Ryazansky. Analysis of the regional and Orthodox aspects in teaching history at the Orthodox gymnasium in the name of St. Vasily Ryazansky showed the close relationship of local history with history, geography, archeology and other disciplines in the study of the history of the city through its shrines, architecture (church and secular), the activities of famous personalities (saints, princes, kings, emperors, governors, philanthropists).
