This article deals with the theoretical modeling methods applied in the paradigmatic analysis. On the one hand, studying the theories with complex structures, the paradigmatic analysis is substantially different from the elements of social thought and social action, and it is a special case of theoretical modeling. On the other hand, using special theoretical knowledge as an object, the paradigmatic analysis is a metatheoretical rather than substantive method. In this sense, it differs from the modeling because it is another research area. The paradigmatic method is important for social cognition since the metatheoretical level of philosophical research performs core functions in social studies. Its main task is the creation of theoretical constructs that can explain the emergence and operation of social concepts, theories, and methods. For this reason, the paradigmatic analysis as a social and philosophical method summarizes the results of social cognition. Besides, it plays the role of introduction to philosophical and social sciences.
