Features of cooperative learning techniques in online reading lessons

Interest to online foreign languages learning and its integration into educational procces gave rise to attention of modern approaches and material design as well as to a search of new methods and techniques of teaching foreign languages. They promote the engagement of students, increase the participation and students’ interaction in the lesson. The article explores the application of Cooperative Learning technology to the practice of reading skills in online English language classes. The main advantages of the integration of Cooperative Learning technique are the positive interaction of students in the process of learning, individual responsibility, equal participation of all learners, collective cooperation, stimulating interaction.
