The article presents pedagogical studies of the process of formation of knowledge and practical skills of first aid in the lessons of OBZH in grades 7. The pedagogical conditions providing the process of education of children in secondary school to the basics of life safety are analyzed." The ways of developing independence in thinking among schoolchildren are considered, methods and methods of using practical techniques that contribute to first aid to victims are proposed, which will form such regulatory universal educational actions among schoolchildren as: goal-setting, planning, and control skills.
