Features of professional activity of the staff of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia when the operational situation worsens

The article deals with the peculiarities of the performance of official (professional) tasks by the staff of the criminal executive system (CPS) of the Russian Federation in the aggravation of the operational situation caused by extreme circumstances of a criminal nature. The author believes that the effectiveness of the implementation of complex professional tasks by the bodies and institutions of the Criminal Justice System that arise during the aggravation of the operational situation is achieved, including the competent use of a variety of tactical and special methods of action. These include, first of all, search, pursuit, encirclement, blocking, cordon, dispersal, and detention (seizure).
