Features of the manifestation of emotional burnout syndrome in specialists of social welfare institutions

The article considers the phenomenon of emotional burnout among specialists of social welfare institutions. The results of an empirical study conducted in organizations of such specialization in Lipetsk region and aimed at identifying the degree of severity of the manifestation of emotional burnout among practitioners, depending on the length of professional activity, are presented. The study involved 192 female social workers aged 18-65 years with work experience in this sphere from 1 to 40 years. A significant part of the specialists of social welfare institutions revealed an average level of emotional burnout syndrome. It is shown that the symptoms of this phenomenon appear at the beginning of the professional career. The expediency of timely preventive and early correctional work with young social workers is justified, which would prevent the development of symptoms of emotional burnout syndrome at later age stages.
