Peculiarities of psychoprophylactic preparation of children for radionuclide investigations in nephrourology

The article presents the recommendation of the Pediatric Committee of the European Society of Nuclear Medicine for scintigraphic investigations in children. The authors describe the major principles of psychoprophylactic preparation of children for radionuclide investigations taking into account peculiarities of various age groups and characters, the ways of reducing a child's anxiety before the investigation, which increase its quality.
