Peculiarities of handling psychic trauma in persons under protection: Work experience

Introduction. The problem of peculiarities of work with psychic trauma in persons under protection is insufficiently studied and is relevant. The purpose is to analyze the peculiarities of arising and manifestation of psychic trauma in persons under protection and to identify effective psychological methods and techniques for practical work with psychic trauma in persons subject to state protection. Materials, Results and Discussion. Psychodiagnostic methods and techniques used to deal with protected persons are listed. The authors’ or modified psychodiagnostic tools (semi-structured interview, observation forms for the protected person) are given. The paper describes effective psychotherapeutic approaches and individual techniques for practical work with psychic trauma in persons subject to state protection.
