The ecological tourism development on the specially protected natural territories

Ecotourism is a global industry trend, the number of ecotourists increases by several percent annually. Russia has a significant potential for the systemic development of this type of services. The experience of other states allows us to develop comprehensive programs of environmental tours and related services, taking into account the involvement of specially protected natural areas. This study is devoted to the integration of nature conservation areas and ecotourism on the basis of a balance of economic, environmental and social interests, which include a combination of meeting demand and preserving the historical potential of the territory, where the development of anthropogenic factors should not affect the long-term course of natural processes. The purpose of the study is to analyze the ecological tourism development model based on specially protected territories of Russia. The article examines the main problems of the development of eco-tourism, the specifics of the involvement of resources of unique natural zones in commercial turnover, as well as issues related to its low level of development in these territories. Based on the identified problems and the current development situation, the content of the ecotourism development program in specially protected natural areas is presented, as well as system recommendations for various levels of management are developed. As a result of the study, it was concluded that favorable conditions for the development of ecological tourism have been created in specially protected areas of Russia. The use of opportunities involves the creation of tourist and recreational infrastructure, as well as a high level of investment in this area.
