Features of development of mathematical abilities

This paper analyzes the peculiarities of thinking of gifted children according to the profile of mathematical science. Particular attention is paid to the problem of determining and developing mathematical abilities. Examples of solving non-standard problems of increased complexity are offered for consideration. It describes the procedural side of intellectual activity, namely the selection of various options for solving mathematical problems.
