Features of the translation thought development based on the English to Russian translations of a passage from Shakespeare’s tragedy “Hamlet”

The article examines an approach to translating W. Shakespeare’s tragedy “Hamlet” into Russian by six translators belonging to three different periods. We establish that the same original work can be transferred to another language in different ways, depending on the time when its translation was performed. The article represents the translation concepts of different years, as well as a comparison of the most modern of them used in translating W. Shakespeare’s tragedy “Hamlet”.
