The paper examines the implementation of state programs in rural areas of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), focusing on the case study of Tumul village. Employing a sociological survey, the study analyzes the population’s awareness of existing programs and projects. Based on a sociological survey, the awareness of the population about existing programs and projects was analyzed, and the attitude of residents to participate in the development of the settlement, where the programs “Integrated Rural Development for 2020-2025” and “Rural Initiatives Support Program” were implemented, was revealed. Half of the surveyed population highly appreciates their awareness of the implementation of government programs, the majority express satisfaction with the accessibility and equipment of facilities. However, there is a lack of awareness among some of the population about projects funded by government programs, and some passivity and unwillingness on the part of rural residents to participate in the development of new projects have been identified.
