Features of the imagery implementation in the English meteorological discourse (based on mass media publications)

The article deals with the analysis of the metaphorized lexical units used in the English meteorological discourse and determines the features of both the discourse itself and its lexical units-metaphors. It is noted that all the identified metaphorized lexical units are characterized by a high degree of frequency of implementation and can be combined in one media message and even in one sentence, increasing its conceptual and pragmatic significance.
