Features of regulation of law enforcement function in the field of local government (historical aspect)

An overview of the legal norms regulating the activities of executive structures of local authorities to carry out law enforcement functions is presented from a historical perspective. At the same time, the emphasis is on the peculiarities of the principles of unity of command and collegiality in these activities. The relevant legal acts and scientific works on the stated issues are analyzed. An assessment is given related to the exclusion of the law enforcement function from the activities of local governments by the constitutional amendments 2020.
