Features representation of emotional concept of "fear" in the text of the military novel V.P. Astafieva "Cursed and killed"

This article analyzes the emotional concept. This is a special type of concept, by which is meant a unit of structured knowledge, characterizes the sensual human world through the prism of his inner feelings, sensations, psychological characteristics. It analyzes the conceptual component of the concept of «fear». The text of the Siberian writer of the war novel V. P. Astafiev «Cursed and killed» served as the basis for the study. The text of the novel has highly emotional and psychological tension. The paper uses the method of semantic-cognitive approach. The principle of such analysis is the study of lexical and grammatical units, which are a means of access to the content of the concept. Contents of work is a description of the conceptual signs of the concept of «fear». Presented cognitive symptoms identified during the analysis of dictionary definitions of the same name by emotional group in the literary language. The result of the analysis of the concept of «fear» in the novel V.P. Astafiev is a list of the original conceptual signs, actualized by the author in the text of military subjects.
