The peculiarities of representation of the image of a mother in the ethnic picture of the world

This article provides an interpretation of the characteristics of the representation of the image of the mother based on the results of a free associative experiment conducted in the form of a written survey in 2016 with the participation of the Khakass respondents. The analysis of the image of the mother has revealed the predominance of a group of syntagmatic positive reactions related to the feelings of love, affection, care; there is a high assessment of the intellectual abilities of the mother, her connection with the house and the family hearth is obvious.
