The Chinese-Russian and Russian-Chinese pidgins and lexical regionalisms of Chinese origin used in the Russian language of the border region are considered. The study revealed that as a result of language contact in the territories of native Russian speakers adjacent to the Chinese border, an idiom with signs of pidgin appeared. The 400-year history of interaction between the peoples of Russia and China has led to the appearance of regionalisms borrowed from the Chinese language in the vocabulary of residents of the Far East. Some lexemes have been included in the dictionaries of the Russian language.
