The article deals with the features of the pre-adult age (students) affecting the personal self-actualization. They are: personal self-determination, mindset formation, selfawareness development. As a result of the empirical research, the author has found that in this age the self-actualization components are at different development levels, which suggests that the process of students' socialization is not complete. The development level of students' self-actualization depends on the individual psychological features and such social factors as a place of students' residence, gender, and ethnic identity.
