The comprehensive development of a student's personal potential is one of the primary tasks facing the modern education system. It is necessary to consider the individual psychological characteristics of each child when creating specific learning and upbringing conditions and developing a general ability to learn. All activities that a child masters during school are united by one very important personal development that forms at this age-the ability to self-control and voluntary regulation of behavior and activity. Self-regulation is the process by which an individual manages their own psychological and physiological states, as well as their actions. However, the development of this ability in children of determination has its own characteristics, related to delayed onset and the unique qualitative development of all types of activities-cognitive, motivational-needs-based, socio-emotional, and motor. It is crucial to consider the level of self-regulation development during the learning process and to incorporate exercises and tasks into the educational process that will foster its development in young schoolchildren of determination. Teaching such children to regulate their behavior and actions will contribute to successful learning and favorable socialization in society as a whole.
