Features of agricultural development of the territories of the Yegorlyk river valley during the XVIII-XIX centuries

The article provides an overview of the historical features of agricultural activity of the population of the territories of the valley of the river Yegorlyk. On the example of large settlements of the Stavropol province, located along the Yegorlyk river, the main branches of agriculture characteristic of the period of the XVIII-XIX centuries, as well as positive and negative natural factors that were important in the life of settlers are considered. Statistical data are given that allow us to judge the role of various industries in the life of settlements in the valley of the Yegorlyk River.
