Features of the Youth Policy Management System in a Higher Education Institution (Based on the Example of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of BSU)

The article analyzes the implementation of a youth policy management system with-in a structural subdivision of a higher education institution. Contemporary perspectives on youth policy management and educational activities in universities are exam-ined. The main areas of youth policy and education work are identified and discussed. Examples of youth policy implementation in student communities are provided, including student self-governance, the institute's trade union committee, the media center, and the sports club. The roles and functions of each element within the youth policy management system are defined. The mechanisms for how these communities operate and the recruitment process are described. A model of youth policy management is presented, followed by an analysis of the results obtained. The study provides an assessment of innovative mechanisms for supporting student communities, such as mentoring programs aimed at guiding the individual development of each student leader. Factors hindering the most effective implementation of youth policy and educational activities at the institute are also identified.
