Features of committing thefts and fraudulent actions using information and telecommunication technologies (based on the materials of the Republic of Tatarstan):criminological and criminalistic aspects

The article considers the features of committing thefts and frauds using information and telecommunication technologies in the Republic of Tatarstan on the basis of an analysis of statistical data on crime in the territory of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan and materials of law enforcement practice of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Tatarstan. Much attention is paid to the methods of committing the investigated crimes in the process of digitalization. The procedure for identifying persons who have committed and/or committed thefts and frauds using information and telecommunication technologies is given.
