Structure and position of placenta in women with mesenchymal dysplasia

Бесплатный доступ

Placenta structure and position were studied among 850 pregnant women with undifferentiated forms of placental mesenchymal dysplasia (PMD) (n=524) or without PMD (n=326). The placenta in women with undifferentiated forms of PMD had the morphofunctional characteristics indicative of failure of the fetoplacental adaptation. The placental villous immaturity and signs of infected placenta in patients with PMD were associated with high incidence of lowlying placenta adversely affecting the fetoplacental function.
