On the structure of quality of life of adolescentspatients with mild degree of mental retardation, depending on the form of their living

The article presents results of study of quality of life in 120 adolescents with mental retardation aged 12-18 years, using the questionnaire ILK intended for this age category of patients. Respondents were 60 adolescents living at the boarding school, but keeping relationships with family and 60 adolescents living at home and educated at specialized schools. The basic thesis of our research work to be defended is: significant differences in domains of social functioning of mentally retarded adolescents depending on the form of their living (home or boarding school).
