Features of the landscape science term structure in German

The article examines the structural types of landscape science terms and describes their most productive models of formation, characteristic of the nomination of landscape science concepts in modern German. The terms and definitions of the relevant concepts of landscape studies in the amount of 852 units taken from special sources served as the material for the study. The conducted research makes it possible to streamline, unify and standardize the terms forming the term system of landscape studies, which makes it possible to further predict its development. The study of the methods of term formation is part of the general theory of the term and is aimed at solving an important problem of terminology studies - standardization of terminology in general. Terminological phrase is the most productive model for landscape science term formation, which is a distinctive characteristic of the term system under study. The results obtained can be used in the study of industry term systems based on materials of other languages.
