Features of geographically distributed enterprise information systems

The article analyzes the features of geographically distributed information systems of enterprises. The aspects that determine the need for the use of geographically distributed information systems, their essence, structure and main characteristics are considered. Promising directions for the development of such systems are given. The peculiarities of the transition of enterprises to geographically distributed information systems are revealed.
