The article is devoted to the participation of the prosecutor in civil proceedings for the consideration of certain categories of cases. The author considers the powers of the prosecutor related to the consideration of certain categories of cases in civil proceedings. The analysis of legal literature and materials of judicial practice. The problems that are an obstacle to a more effective participation of the prosecutor in legal proceedings are revealed.
