Features of the participation of a defense attorney in a jury trial

The article reveals the features of criminal proceedings considered by a court with the participation of jurors and regulated by Chapter 42 of the code of criminal procedure of the Russian Federation. The legal status of a lawyer who carries out his / her activities in criminal proceedings with the participation of jurors is considered. The key points that justify the principle of participation of the defense lawyer in the trial by the jury are highlighted.
