The features of extraction of upper third molars

In dental practice there are cases of complications after the extraction of upper third molars (wisdom teeth). The article deals with the main causes and peculiarities of complications after tooth extraction. We have established the frequency of patients'' appeals in connection with the pathology of upper wisdom to dentists, the reasons for surgery, the frequency and structure of complications after the extraction of upper third molars. The results of the clinical study allow us to conclude that, the extraction of upper wisdom tooth is common, namely 8.42% of patients who appeal to dental surgeon have indications for removing of upper third molars. In connection with this the main reasons for these operations are chronic periodontitis or its exacerbation in adults.
