Particular using of phrasal verbs in medical discourse

Phrasal verbs and idioms are frequently used in everyday English. Nowadays they are becoming more popular in specific language of economics, law and medicine as equivalent for specific terms. Here phrasal verbs change their meaning and take on special significance. This article focuses on problem of understanding and use of phrasal verbs in medical texts.
