Statement of the problem. In S.A. Shargunov’s story Hurray, there are stylistically marked lexical units that allow us to understand the personality of the characters, their nature, and evaluate them. Stylistically non-standard vocabulary includes vulgar, colloquial, and slang words. The purpose of the study is to describe the features of the use of stylistically marked vocabulary in S.A. Shargunov’s story Hurray.
