Peculiarities of perception of Russian teachers by Turkmen students during pedagogical communication

The article is devoted to the consideration of some aspects of pedagogical communication at the university. The author notes the insufficient coverage in the specialized literature of this type of interaction between teachers and students. The relevance and novelty of the work is given by the fact that in this article pedagogical communication is studied not from the positions of teachers, from the positions of students (which is extremely rare), and even those who arrived in Russia to study the Russian language from Turkmenistan. The author determines the main content, functions and features of pedagogical communication of a university teacher with foreign students and refer to the results of their research: questionnaires among Turkmen students. Analyzing the questionnaire questions used by the author during the experiment, they note that their goal was to highlight the peculiarities of perception by foreign students of various aspects and components of pedagogical communication. Such features are attributed by the author: the teacher's speech techniques, nonverbal components of communication (facial expressions, gestures, and others), the appearance of teachers (mostly women), as well as the style of pedagogical communication, the teacher's ability to organize his work and work in a student group and the formation of the teacher's communicative competence (that is, his willingness to build an effective communication with foreign students). The results of the survey show the general mood of foreign students for a democratic option of interaction with the teacher, which does not cancel the rigor and consistency in the presentation of requirements, tolerant attitude to some miscalculations in the organization of work. At the same time, foreign students absolutely do not accept speech defects, incomprehensible long phrases, hyperactive gestures and arrogant attitude towards them on the part of the teacher.
