In this article, the concept of Kurt Hübner, a representative of the historical school in the philosophy of science, is interpreted with the emphasis on the categories of subject, object, and intersubjectivity. Kurt Hübner is trying to show that despite the different content of these categories, scientific and mythological constructions are structurally uniform, that they possess their own rationality, which evens their rights to a leading role in the interpretation of reality. The author emphasizes the ambivalence of Hübner's stance. The article is initiated by the research of subject-subject, subject-object and intersubjective interaction types and their dynamics in transitional societies.
